Several personnel of the Institute of Crop Science joined the 116th anniversary celebration of the UPLB College of Agriculture and Food Science (CAFS), during the opening of CAFS Sportsfest, today March 3. Wearing purple jersey shirts, several ICropS personnel went to the baseball field area, near Edwin B. Copeland Sports Gym for a boost of adrenaline and fun and cheering. The purple team, composed of ICropS, Agricultural Systems Institute (ASI), CAFS Office of the College Secretary, and CAFS Dean’s Office also presented their Zumba choreography with energy and pizzazz.
The ICropS team was headed by Director Eureka Teresa M. Ocampo, Deputy Director Mylene C. Nieves, and representatives of the five divisions. The three-day sportsfest is part of the weeklong events celebrating the College’s foundation.
